About Our Chapter
The Palm Beach County Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots,
501(c)(3) non-profit, environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our oceans,
waves, and beaches, for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. (click for printable Mission Statement

Founded in 1997 , the Palm Beach County Chapter is only one of 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Hawaiian, and Puerto Rican coasts.

The Palm Beach County Chapter of Surfrider Foundation has a member-elected executive board of volunteers. This executive board appoints additional volunteers to participate on special projects. Executive board members are elected annually.
